REMINDER: All Players Need to Register Themselves Onto Team R

REMINDER: All Players Need to Register Themselves Onto Team R

William Ladic

All players who have been invited to play on a registered team in the league will need to register themselves in one of two ways.

Put simply, for those of you who are very comfortable in creating an online account (best to do this task on a computer, laptop or tablet rather than smartphone) and registering for a sporting activity, here's what you need to do...:
  1. Create an esportsdesk account using the white 'Sign Up' button (upper right of any page on the No Frills VBall website), if you don't already have an individual esportsdesk account.  If you already have your own esportsdesk individual account then use the white 'Sign In' button instead.

  2. Once account made and you are inside your account, go to either one of the 'Register' buttons found in your account

  3. After that, click on the registration called '1-ROSTER VERIFICATION & WAIVER SIGNING - REGISTERED TEAMS ONLY' IF you are not currently on any other team roster in our league

  4. When you get to the form part of the process, register yourself under the "team" that invited you.  Be sure you know the exact name (and 2-letter code) of the team you have been invited to play with.  This question asking you to pick the team you are registering under will be one of the last questions you will be asked in the process.

  5. Proceed to check out and then log out of your account.  That's it!
Note:  If you ARE on a coed, men's or women's team's roster already then instead of choosing the '1-ROSTER VERIFICATION & WAIVER SIGNING - REGISTERED TEAMS ONLY' registration, register under 'EXTRA REG. FOR PLAYERS WHO PLAY ON MULTIPLE REGISTERED TEAMS' instead.  That process is even quicker and easier but only use this alternative registration if you've already registered once before in the other validation registration.

If you need more of a walk-through on how to do this and you think that you might easily get lost or confused then read and follow the more detailed directions below...there are three helper video links below that you can watch to help.  The main reason we are asking all players to do this is so that every player can sign off on the full-season waiver in addition to getting their name on the team roster.  Team reps can no longer add names to rosters manually.

MORE DETAILED, STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO GET EACH PLAYER ONTO THE CORRECT TEAM'S ROSTER (IF YOU NEED IT!)...
When creating your individual Esportsdesk account, the process does ask for your address and a phone number as well as an email when creating your account.  They are a local company and they keep all your data safe and secure.  You can ask them more about this if you have any concerns.  You can use their help desk found inside your new account or by going to their contact us page found at - https://www.esportsdesk.com/contact-us.cfm.  You are welcome to use a box number for your address if you like but please make sure that your email is a legitimate one that you can access as it will be receiving a verification email from esportsdesk in order to validate your email and your new account.

TWO HELPER VIDEOS + AN ADDITIONAL VIDEO FOR PLAYERS WHO NEED TO GET ONTO MORE THAN ONE TEAM ROSTER
There are 3 videos to help each player through the process.
  1. The first video is an older one that discusses how to create the online esportsdesk account.  You can ignore any references to other videos made near the end of the video.
  2. The second video is about how to register yourself so that you can get onto your team's roster.
  3. The third is only for players who have to get onto additional team rosters.
It's important to note that these 3 videos were recorded viewing the screen of a desktop computer so it may be best to do this process for yourself on a desktop, tablet or laptop computer rather than a smart phone.

If you are really comfortable with creating online accounts, you may not need to watch the first video but you should watch the 2nd video just to make sure you get all the details you need even though the process itself isn't all that hard either.  You only need to watch the 3rd video if you have to add your name to more than one team's roster.

The links for the 3 videos are:

  2. Video 2 - How to Register A Player onto a Registered League Team - https://youtu.be/J6ge8DJsSWc

  3. Video 3 - How To Add A Player to the Rosters of Additional Teams - https://youtu.be/RzLcjzGWv2I
This process needs to be done by ALL players on the team, including all team reps too, if you want to get on your team's roster.  There will be a waiver you'll need to sign during the process (covered in Video 2).

The only time a player would have to repeat this process is he/she has been invited to play on a new team and are not on that team's roster yet (see Video 3 for more).

We can appreciate that this is the least fun part of the process of getting you onto one or more team rosters but it's really not that bad once you take the time to do this...it should take less than 10 minutes to do all the necessary steps.

Thank you everyone for your cooperation.in dealing with this.
